Description
Little Limber Lodge is a gate lodge built in the early 19th century, with later additions from the 19th century. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a slate pyramidal hipped roof with lead dressings and a central brick chimney stack. The lodge has a single storey with a three-bay front, which includes a projecting gabled porch adorned with a fretted bargeboard and a four-centred arched opening that has a scrolled cartouche of arms above it. On either side of the door are narrow slits with square ends. The inner door has a three-centred arched head and is made of ledged construction. Flanking the door are pointed Gothick windows, each with two light casements. The porch also has two pointed two-light windows on its sides.
