Description

This ha-ha, located 70 metres south of Casthorpe Lodge, dates from the early 19th century. It features herringbone brickwork and has stone steps at the southwest end. The structure is U-shaped, with a straight section extending to the southwest, and it encloses the front lawn. The ha-ha is approximately 100 metres long and is included for its group value.
