Description
Ancaster Hall Former Kitchen is a former kitchen block that has been converted into a store. It dates from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century. The building is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a pantile roof that is hipped on one side and gabled on the other. It has a square plan and is a single storey with two bays. The east front includes an off-centre 18th-century six-panelled door with a wooden lintel and a plain surround. To the right of the door, there is a two-light mullioned window with a moulded stone surround. The building is listed for its group value.
