Description
No. 14 on Vine Street is a building from the 17th century or earlier. It is two stories tall, with a stucco exterior and a pantile roof that overhangs on iron brackets. The upper storey projects slightly, and the ground floor is made of stone with a string course. A significant feature of the building is the doorway leading to a covered passage between Nos. 14 and 15. This doorway is made of stone with moulded jambs, featuring a centred inner head and a square outer head with a moulded label, dating back to the 16th century. No. 14 is part of a group that includes No. 15 Elmer Street, and Nos. 10 and 11, Stable to Vine House, as well as Nos. 13 to 15 in succession.
