Description

The Red House is a farmhouse built in the early 19th century. It features red brick and coursed ironstone rubble, topped with a concrete tiled roof that has gable stacks. The building has three storeys and a three-bay front, which includes two brick bands and decorated eaves. The central doorway is framed by a plain round-headed doorcase and an ornate traceried fanlight, leading to a four-panelled door. On either side of the door are single windows, with three smaller windows above; the window above the door is narrower, and there are three smaller windows above that. All windows are fitted with glazing bar sashes.
