Description
The Dogs' Memorial, located 250 metres north-east of Belton House, is a late 19th-century structure erected by Adelaide, Lady Brownlow, in memory of two pet dogs that died in 1896 and 1899. It is made of ashlar and features a goblet-shaped urn with figures in relief, set on a square pedestal with a plinth and moulded cornice. The memorial stands approximately 2.5 meters high. It is situated within Belton Park, which is registered as grade I on the Gardens Register.
