Description

The tomb chest located in the churchyard of St. Peter and St. Paul, 12 paces from the south transept, dates from 1823. It is made of ashlar and slate and commemorates Benjamin Crosby, who died in 1823. The design features bulbous angle baluster pilasters and includes a slate inscription panel. The tomb chest was created by Blackwell.
