Description

Woad Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse with later 20th-century alterations, located on Woadmill Bank in Tydd St Mary. The farmhouse is constructed of red brick with a slate roof and has two brick gable stacks. The brickwork has a brick coping to the gable ends; the building stands on a plinth. It is two storeys high and five bays wide, with the central bay slightly projecting. A central doorway features a panelled door and overlight. There are two 20th-century glazing bar casements on either side of the doorway, and five similar casements above. All ground-floor openings have cambered heads and flush wedge-brick lintels.
