Description
Manor House is a house built in the late 17th century and mid 18th century. It features coursed rubble and brick with ashlar dressings, topped by a partially hipped pantile roof. The house has a single gable and ridge brick stacks, with brick coped gables that include kneelers and dentilated eaves. The south-west corner is accentuated by ashlar quoins.
The house is two storeys high. The south front has three bays, with a central doorway that has a plank door, flanked by two light sliding sash windows. Above this, there is an ashlar first floor band, with a central small fixed light, a blocked opening to the left, and a single two light sliding sash window to the right, all under segmental heads. The west front also has three bays with identical window arrangements, but without the blocked opening, and features part of the lower walling in coursed rubble along with a brick first floor band.
