Description
The Laurels is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a pantile roof, with a single ridge and single gable stacks. The building has a first-floor band and dentilated eaves, and it is composed of four bays across two storeys. The entrance is off-centre, featuring a six-panel door. To the left of the door is a three-light cross casement window, and to the right are two similar windows. Above the door, there is a two-light sliding sash window, with a similar sash to the left and two three-light sliding sashes to the right, along with a small 20th-century casement window in between. All the openings have segment heads. Additionally, there is a gabled side porch on the right, which includes a 19th-century iron hand pump housed in a wooden case.
