Description
This late 18th-century house is located on Clint Lane in Navency. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar detailing and has a pantile roof with ashlar coped gables and kneelers. Two brick gable stacks are present. A moulded eaves cornice runs along the top of the house, and a rubble plinth sits at the base. The house is three bays wide and extends over three storeys. The central doorway features a half-glazed six-panel door with a fanlight, set within a rendered surround. Modern cross casement windows flank the door on the ground floor. Above are three similar windows, and above those, a smaller central window is flanked by single glazing bar sashes. All the windows are topped with ashlar wedge lintels incorporating keystones. To the south of the main house are two single-storey outbuildings with a single fixed light window each. A lower two-storey range extends to the rear of the house.
