Description

Sleaford East Signal Box is a railway signal box built around 1882 for the Great Northern and Great Eastern Joint Railway. It is constructed of red brick and wood, featuring slate roofs and decorative barge boards with finials, along with a single external gable stack on the north side. The building is two storeys high, with a blank ground floor and a wooden external staircase located at the south gable. The east front displays four sets of large three-light sliding sash windows above, along with the remnants of an iron balcony. This structure is included in the listing for its group value only.
