Description

This is an 18th-century building of three storeys, originally comprising three identical properties, constructed in brick. The roof is tiled with pantiles, except for number 89, which has a Welsh slate roof. The building originally featured three windows, each with a stucco keystone, and 3-light sash windows with glazing bars, similar to the remaining original window at number 85. Numbers 87 and 89 now have 6-light casement windows with mullions and a transom. The shop fronts at ground level have been altered with rendered and tiled risers. A 6-panel door, with a dentil cornice and a blocked rectangular fanlight above, provides access to a passage. The building is listed as part of a group, which includes numbers 57 to 75 (odd), numbers 79 to 103 (odd), and numbers 2 Vickers Lane.
