Description
The garden wall at Locksley Hall is an 18th-century structure, with alterations made between 1921 and 1925. It is constructed of red brick and features a small gateway on the right, flanked by two rectangular brick piers, each topped with a stepped brick cap and an ashlar ball finial. The low wall extends to the right, ending in another rectangular brick pier. On the left side, the wall curves downwards to two additional rectangular brick piers, separated by a straight section, and each of these also has stepped caps and ashlar ball finials. The wall then curves upwards from the left-hand pier, leading to a gateway with rectangular piers, both of which have stepped caps and ball finials. The wall continues to the left, featuring another rectangular pier with a stepped cap and ball finial. Each section of the wall includes small cross-shaped openings.
