Description
Old Manor House is a house built in 1540, with early 18th-century and 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof with coped and tumbled gables, along with three gabled brick dormers that have tumbling and small sliding sashes. There is a broad band at the eaves that runs over the gable ends and two ridge stacks. The building has a single storey and an attic, presenting a four-bay front. To the right, there is a doorway with a segmental head, an overlight, and a panelled door. To the left, there are two sliding sashes, and to the right, there is a single sliding sash, all featuring segmental heads. The west end includes a doorway with a segmental head and a plank door, along with a small 19th-century plain sash to the left and a small sliding sash with a segmental head above. Inside, there is a beam dated 1540. The interior has not been inspected.
