Description

The pump and five bollards, located in Binbrook Market Place, were created in 1910 by the firm Amies and Barford from Peterborough. The pump is made of cast iron and features an octagonal pillar with a moulded base and top, adorned with relief decorations of roses and fleur de lys. It includes a decorated cast iron spout and a swept handle. The bollards are designed to resemble tapering collared cannon with balls at their mouths. Additionally, there is a square ashlar stone base nearby, which is now used as a lampstand and commemorates the pump's installation through a public inscription from 1910.
