Description
The grave slab at the Church of St Peter, dating from the 13th century, is made of ashlar stone and is leaning against the north side of the tower. It is a tapering slab that features a quirked edge and is decorated with a stepped cross fleury. The cross has intricate foliate terminals and lozenges at the center and along the arms. This slab was discovered on the site of Stixwould Abbey and is listed for its group value only.
