Description

Nos 82 to 88 on Eastgate are early 19th-century buildings that stand three storeys tall and are constructed of painted brick. The roofs are made of two corrugated iron sections and one pantile. The buildings feature four windows with segmental arches and marginal glazing. On the first floor, there are flat arches with marginal glazing, except for No 88, which has a modern six-light window. The shop fronts are modern, and there is a round-arched passage entry. The eaves are supported by paired brackets. These buildings are listed as part of a group that helps maintain the curve of the street, alongside Nos 80 to 92 and Nos 100 and 102.
