Description

The Dairy Farmhouse is a cottage dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. Originally constructed using mud and stud, it is now covered in red brick and features a plinth and a half-hipped pantile roof, along with an axial ridge brick stack. The building has a lobby entry plan and is a single storey plus garret, presenting a three-bay front with a central planked door. This door is flanked by two light glazing bar sliding sash windows, each with segmental brick heads. Inside, the farmhouse retains bay posts and slightly curved braces. At the rear, there is a large 20th-century extension, which is not considered of special interest.
