Description

The memorial clock tower, built between 1914 and 1919, is constructed from ashlar stone. It features two rectangular steps that lead up to a smaller rectangular plinth, which has a shaped plaque on the south side and a moulded band above it. At the top, there is a tapering rectangular column, also with a shaped plaque on the south side and shaped recessed panels on the other sides. Above this is a decorated band that supports a rectangular block with a single clock face on each side, except for the north side. The cap of the tower has a small gable on each face.
