Description

The Old Rectory is a late 18th-century rectory, later used as a house, situated on Church Lane in West Barkwith. The building is constructed of red brick with a pantile roof, featuring coped and rendered gables, gable stacks, and three gabled dormers with glazing bar sashes. Wooden eaves run along the roofline.

The two-storey, five-bay front has a central doorway with a 20th-century gabled doorcase incorporating a traceried overlight, flanking pilasters, and a panelled door. Flanking the doorway are two glazing bar sashes on each side, with three glazing bar sashes above. All windows have segmental heads.
