Description
Wexham Farm is a farmhouse dating from around 1800, with alterations and additions from the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond of three, featuring plain stucco dressings. The roof is made of pantiles and has brick coped, partly tumbled gables with two gable stacks. The building has a T-plan, with the rear range being a 19th-century addition. It is two storeys high with a three-bay front. The entrance features a slightly off-centre six-panelled door, flanked by wide plain sash windows. On the first floor, there are two similar windows and a narrower central window set in an original wider opening. All openings are topped with splayed lined stucco lintels. The farm may have been constructed following the enclosure of Anderby Parish in 1807.
