Description

Dairy Farm is a farmhouse dating from around 1800, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond of three, topped with a pantile roof featuring brick coped tumbled gables and two gable stacks. The building is two storeys high with a three-bay front. The central entrance has a six-panelled door, which is covered by a 20th-century timber gabled porch, and is flanked by single plain sash windows with segmental heads. On the first floor, there are three two-light plain casements beneath flat brick heads. To the right of the farmhouse is a later 19th-century range of farm buildings. The farm was likely established after the enclosure of Anderby Parish in 1807.
