Description

The warehouse at Huttoft Mill was built in 1872 by engineers T. Wilson and E. Wheatcroft. It is constructed of red brick with yellow brick dressings and features a hipped slate roof. The building has four storeys and a two-bay front, which includes string courses, rusticated quoins, and decorated eaves made of yellow brick. The central entrance consists of planked double doors, flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. The first and second floors have two blank openings each, while the third floor has two smaller blank openings. All openings are topped with yellow brick keyed arched heads that have imposts. Above the entrance, there is a rectangular stone plaque inscribed with "1872 T. Wilson, E. Wheatcroft, engineer." This building is included for its group value only.
