Description

Field House is a cottage dating from around 1800. It is constructed of red brick in an English garden wall bond of three. The building features coped tumbled gables and a pantile roof, with a single gable stack. The eaves are adorned with brick dentilation. The cottage is one storey with a garret and has a two-bay front. The entrance consists of a planked doorway that is covered by a 20th-century glazed and timber porch. To the left of the doorway, there is a two-light casement window, and above in the garret, there is a single similar window.
