Description

The pigeoncote at Dovecote Farm is an early 19th-century structure built of painted brickwork. It features a conical slate roof topped by a square wooden turret, which has eight small arched flight holes on each side and a pyramidal slate roof. The building has a circular plan and is two storeys high, with brick dogtoothed eaves. There is a single planked opening on the ground floor, while the upper floors have blocked openings. Inside, the pigeoncote retains brick boxes and perches.
