Description

The following building shall be added to the list;

BELTON ASHBY ROAD SK 41 NW 6/10001 Wall, north of Manor Farmhouse, parallel with and to the east of driveway II GV Wall. Possibly medieval. Large granite rubble blocks, built in a drystone method. The wall begins approximately 10 metres to the north of Manor Farmhouse (q.v.) and extends for about 110 metres towards the north at a height of between 2 and 3 metres and thickness of about 1 metre. The ruins of Grace Dieu Priory (q.v.) lie approximately 200 metres to the north-west, but the relationship between the wall and the priory is unclear.
