Description

Lily Bank Farmhouse is a 17th and 18th-century farmhouse originally constructed in stone, with later alterations using brick and a gabled brick wing added at the rear. It has a tiled roof. The front of the farmhouse has two storeys and a three-window arrangement, featuring 20th-century casement windows and a door. The rear of the building shows some stone work at ground floor level, but the remainder (part of the ground floor and the whole of the upper storey) is brick. The rear wing is entirely brick built, with dentilled brick courses between the storeys and in the gable end, positioned below the ground floor window and above the upper storey window. This detail is present both in the wing's upper section and at the gable.
