Description
The stone-built part of Harrington Bridge is a road bridge over the River Trent, dating from 1790. It features an approach ramp with retaining walls and parapets made of ashlar. The structure includes band-courses at the base and below the parapets, and the parapets have rounded coping. This section was formerly part of a longer bridge, of which other surviving parts are listed in Long Eaton Parish, Derbyshire. The section of the bridge that was reconstructed in cast iron in 1906 is not included in this listing.
