Description
The gates and screen located 3 meters east of Stapleford Hall are a late 19th-century structure made of ashlar and wrought iron. The design features nine bays, including a pair of square central gatepiers and two terminal piers, all adorned with moulded bosses, rebated corners, cornices, and ball finials. There are six smaller intermediate piers that match the larger ones. The structure includes a coped dwarf wall topped with iron railing and a pair of curved iron gates. This screen was built to serve as the entrance to the court of Stapleford Hall.
