Description

A row of three cottages, dating from the 18th century and altered in the 19th century. They are constructed of coursed squared ironstone with a pantile roof, brick ridge stacks, and brick end stacks. Each cottage has a single-unit plan. They are two storeys high with a three-window front. The ground floor has plank doors, some part-glazed, each with a segmental-arched brick lintel. The ground floor windows are mostly three-light casements, with the window to the left having a wood lintel, and those to the centre and right having segmental-arched brick lintels. The first floor has a two-light casement to the left, and three-light casements to the centre and right, all with wood lintels. The cottages feature quoins and stepped brick eaves. The interior of Crecca includes a chamfered spine beam with run-out stops.
