Description
The wellhead, located 50 meters west of the west front at Stapleford Hall, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and stone and features wrought iron fittings. The structure has a circular wall topped with half-round coping. A wrought iron windlass is supported by scroll brackets and finials. This wellhead is included in the listing for its group value.
