Description
The Four Seasons Fruiterers is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates back to the 17th century and has undergone some alterations over the years. The building features a timber frame with plaster infill panels on the front and exposed brick infill on the left side. It has a plain tile roof and a central brick chimney stack that was added in the 20th century. Originally, it was likely a two-cell dwelling. The structure has two storeys and displays square panel framing, which probably consisted of four tiers originally, with straight braces. The front has two windows, featuring 19th-century three-light casements. The ground floor is dominated by an earlier 20th-century shop front that includes an inset glazed door in the center and a folding canopy above. The left (west) elevation shows more exposed framing, consisting of three square panels in width.
