Description

Holly Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on the south side of Main Street in Loddington. The exterior is constructed of rubble ironstone, with 18th-century brickwork in the dormers, and is topped with a thatched roof. It is a one-and-a-half story, two-unit building with a gable facing the street. A central door is situated within a thatched porch, with a two-light casement window to its left and a three-light window to its right. Three swept dormers are positioned above, each containing a two-light casement. The cottage features coped gables and brick gable end stacks. Internally, one beam appears to be dated 1673.
