Description
Loddington Hall pavilions and flanking wall consist of a pair of buildings, whose original purpose is unclear, although one is now used as a dwelling. The core dates from the late 17th century or 18th century and is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble with a Welsh slate roof. The gables are coped and set back from the wall-line. The east gables feature two- and three-light mullioned windows. The northernmost building, which serves as a dwelling, has single light casement windows in its north wall and a rear doorway. The two buildings are connected by a length of coursed rubble wall that has tall vents, suggesting it may be a remnant of a former barn.
