Description
The Church of St Giles is a small church built in 1878 by G.E. Street. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone with quoins and stone dressings, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The church features stone coped gables with kneelers and finials. It has a small nave and chancel under one roof, a west bellcote, an east semi-circular apse, and a south porch. The design follows the lancet style, with a quatrefoil window to the west, three windows to the north, two to the south, and three in the apse. The church contains 19th-century stained glass. The gabled bellcote has a single arch and a bell, and there is a gabled south porch. Additionally, there is a west vestry and a later 20th-century west screen that incorporates two panels of stained glass, likely from the 16th century, originally from the old House of Lords.
