Description

5 to 7 The Green is a small terrace of cottages dating from the early 19th century, located next to the Shoulder of Mutton Public House in Great Bowden. Nos 5 and 6 are constructed of painted brick, while No 7 is made of red brick and features an eaves cornice. The cottages have slate roofs and are two storeys high. The terrace has three windows, although No 5 includes an additional first-floor window. The ground floor displays canted bay windows and doors that are sheltered by a penthouse roof across the entire front. The windows are sash style with boxed frames and glazing bars. The doors feature moulded architraves, solid rectangular fanlights, and five-panelled designs.
