Description

Grand Union Canal Bridge Number 42 is an early 19th-century canal bridge located in Husbands Bosworth. It features a single span shallow segmental arch made of brick, with brick copings on the parapet and stone used for the terminal piers. There is a projecting brick band at the base of the parapet. An iron protection plate at the foot of the arch has become worn into grooves from the tow ropes.
