Description

The boundary wall to Hallaton Grange is a structure dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is a long wall that features sections made of brick next to the house, transitioning to ironstone with ashlar copings. The wall steps down in height as it follows the slope of the hill. There is one blocked doorway leading to Cranoe Road, which has a square-headed ovolo moulded architrave with a hoodmould, suggesting it may have provided access to the site of a former manor house.
