Description
St. Luke's Church of England Primary School is a school building dated 1865. It is constructed of red brick with a diaper pattern in black and features a Welsh slate roof, along with a brick stack that projects from the left end. The building has brick coped gables with shouldered ends and kneelers, and the windows are adorned with hood moulds.
The structure is two storeys high and has five windows on the upper floor, which include two 2-light casement windows, two 2-light wooden mullion and transom windows, and two more 2-light casements. On the ground floor, there are four similar mullion and transom windows. To the right of the ground floor, there is a door with an overlight. A stone shield inscribed with 'HR. AD. 1865' is located on the gable at the centre left.
