Description

The Loughborough Cemetery Chapels, dating from 1857, are a pair of buildings constructed from ashlar and covered with slate roofs. They exemplify the Gothic Revival style. The main chapel is three bays and features buttresses, with two-light traceried windows. It is linked by three tall pointed carriage archways, each topped with a gable. A tower and spire rise over the central chapel. The tower has buttresses and single-light openings with ogee hoodmoulds. The spire has lucarnes and is finished with a small cross. Lower vestries are located to the rear of the chapel.
