Description

Cotes Bridge is an 18th-century bridge that incorporates fragments from the medieval period. The parapet was rebuilt in the 20th century. The bridge is constructed of red brick and rubble stone, with blue brick repairs. On the downstream face, there is one pointed stone arch at the east end, along with six semi-circular brick arches and pointed stone cutwaters. The upstream face features seven semi-circular brick arches. The eastern three cutwaters have been rebuilt in blue brick, while the western three, made of stone, have been repaired with blue brick.
