Description
The terrace walls, urns, fountain, and seat at Beaumanor Hall date from the mid-19th century and feature elaborately carved and pierced stonework. The hall is encircled by a series of low walls with piers and urns, along with open strapwork panels at the entrance, avenue, and garden fronts. At the garden front, there is a fountain with a round basin and a semi-circular stone seat positioned behind it. The back of the seat is intricately carved with four volutes, interspersed with carved bull's heads, which represent the Herrick crest. Additional piers exhibit diamond-pointed rustication and Renaissance-style urns.
