Description

The war memorial cross and enclosure, built around 1920, is made of granite rubble and ashlar. It features a moulded hexagonal plinth with two steps, supporting a short armed square section cross that has a square base. On the eastern side, there are cast metal panels displaying the dates 1914-1918 and the names of the deceased. Surrounding the cross is a semi-circular paved area, which is bordered to the east by eight truncated obelisk posts connected by a spiked chain, and on the other sides by a rubble wall.
