Description
The Dog and Gun Public House is a building that originated as a house in the early 17th century, with a later addition from the 19th century. The oldest part features a timber-framed structure, while the newer section is made of brick. Both sections are now covered in rough cast render and topped with Welsh slate roofs. The older part includes a main range and an asymmetrically gabled cross wing, which has recent windows and a doorway located at the junction of the two sections. There is a stack on the right-hand gable. The additional bay is slightly advanced and features casement windows on each floor, along with a gable end stack. Some exposed timber framing can be seen inside the building.
