Description
The range of outbuildings to the west of Ingleby Toft is a group of farm buildings that create a courtyard and date from the late 18th century. They are constructed from red brick and topped with plain tile roofs, featuring one and two storeys. The north range includes a barn, hayloft, and various rooms with attics above. The south elevation has a prominent tall gabled center bay, which contains a 20th-century garage opening and two segmental brick arches that were once doorways. Above these, there is a single segmental arched 2-light casement window and a six-tier pigeoncote in the gable. To the left, an external staircase leads up to a segmental arched doorway with a plank door, followed by a segmental arched carriage entrance. To the right, there is a segmental arched window, two segmental arched doorways with overlights, and a flat arched window, along with two flat-roofed dormers above. The west range is single-storey and has seven doorways with stable-type doors, along with a return range that features two additional similar doors and two segmental arched windows. The east range is two-storey with irregular window placement. The buildings are listed for their group value only.
