Description

Beard Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates back to the 16th century, with additions made in 1850. The building has two storeys and is constructed from coursed stone. The earlier work is visible on the gable end, which is rendered and features a five-light mullion window above a three-light window. The flat dripmoulds and a single light window on both storeys have dripmoulds, with the ground floor window being very small and having splayed reveals. The 1850 elevation includes a central gable with kneelers, two windows that originally had two lights with stone mullions and rectangular dripmoulds, and a stone surround for the door. The roof is made of stone slate and has stacks at the gable ends. The interior contains beams.
