Description

Circa 1837, the Gate House Lodge is a two-story building constructed of coursed stone rubble. It features an arrangement of 2+1+2 mullioned windows set within chamfered reveals, incorporating "Gothic" cast iron glazing bars, and a moulded band. A plain doorcase is also set within a chamfered reveal. The ground floor has two three-light mullioned windows. The building has coped end gables, tall stone stacks set diagonally, and tiled roofing.
