Description

The Gables is a 19th-century house built in a Jacobean revival style. It is constructed of red brick with a banded tiled roof, and features fretted bargeboards to the gable ends. The chimneys have linked shafts. The garden elevation has three windows, with ornate glazing. There is a two-storey bay window and a single-storey bay window. Other windows are distinguished by dripstone moulds. A central gabled porch, with fretted bargeboards and a finial, provides access. A single window is present in the gable end facing the road.
