Description

The Quarryman is an early 19th-century building located on the west side of Market Place. It is constructed of red brick and has two storeys plus an attic. The front features two later sash windows with keyblocks and channelled lintels, a moulded wooden doorcase with a plain 19th-century cornice hood supported on consoles, and plain eaves. The roof is tiled. The building is part of a group that includes numbers 4 to 13 and number 15 on the same side of Market Place. It was formerly known as the Black's Head Inn.
